I believe that every individual has their own unique story, strengths, and experiences that shape how they see themselves and the world around them.

Whether your child, teen, or young adult is navigating emotional challenges, behavioural concerns, life transitions, or simply needs a safe person to talk to, I am here to provide support, understanding, and guidance.

I believe that every individual has their own unique story, strengths, and experiences that shape how they see themselves and the world around them.

My goal is to create a welcoming, compassionate, and judgment-free space where clients feel heard, valued, and supported.

I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step for both young people and their families.

Building trust and creating a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work, as I take the time to meet each client where they are and create a space where they feel comfortable expressing themselves at their own pace.

Through child-friendly games, play, creative activities, and age-appropriate conversations, I help clients feel safe while developing the confidence to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

I completed my Master of Counselling at Yorkville University and hold an Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Trent University.

Throughout my training and professional experience, I have developed a strong passion for working with young individuals and supporting them through the challenges that come with growing, learning, and navigating today’s world.

With over three years of experience supporting children, youth, and young adults, I currently support clients in navigating challenges related to anxiety, emotional regulation, self-esteem, family conflict, relationships, school-related concerns, behavioural challenges, and major life transitions.

My approach is collaborative, individualized, and focused on each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals, and I often integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, strengths-based therapy, play therapy, and emotion-focused approaches to help clients better understand themselves, develop effective coping strategies, build emotional awareness, and strengthen their resilience.

I believe therapy should not be a one-size-fits-all experience — it should be adapted to each person’s developmental stage, personality, interests, and comfort level.

For parents and caregivers, I know it can be difficult to watch a child or teen struggle and feel unsure of how best to support them.

My role is not only to work alongside young people, but also to collaborate with families by providing understanding, encouragement, and practical strategies to support positive change beyond the therapy space.

Every client brings their own strengths and potential into therapy, and my hope is to help young individuals feel more confident in who they are, better understand their emotions, and develop the skills they need to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience.

If you are wondering whether therapy may be a good fit for your child, teen, or young adult, I welcome you to reach out and start a conversation about how I can support you and your family.
